“Our Freedom is our Bondage. There Is But One True Divide – The Divide in Consciousness” – Sadhguru
When a reporter asked John D. Rockefeller, “How much money is enough?” He responded by saying, “Just a little bit more.” The Rockefellers are an excellent example of the insanity that occurs in those who try to count to infinity.
To our knowledge, the Rockefeller’s aren’t shapeshifting reptilian aliens. They’ve just blazed further down the path of “more” than anyone else in history. This is the nature of the human being. Whatever we are, we want more of it. And when we get more, we all just want a little bit more. You get that raise you wanted along with a promotion. Now set your sights on the next raise. Incremental growth.
Slowly and incrementally we walk this path step by step. One step, leading to a want to take another step. You know, just a little bit more. Use the Rockefeller’s to see what just a little more brings you. They have no problem destroying the planet to gain more. What happens if they get the entire planet?
Just a little bit more.
They will look to the moon, to mars, and other star systems.
Just a little bit more
Does this path lead to fulfillment? Are the Rockefeller’s fulfilled?
No. Well, maybe they just need a little bit more.
Do you think following down this path will lead to better results for you, knowing how much further down this path the Rockefellers are to you and knowing that they still want more? The fundamental problem is that we are not looking for more. We are looking for ALL. And ALL cannot happen physically. If you are looking for all, this means you are looking for a boundless goal. An infinite goal. Your goal is infinite in nature but you are approaching it in dollar by dollar installments. Can you count to infinity?
If you desire that which is infinite, stop counting. – All you have to determine who you are and who you want to be. Get rid of the dollar to dollar boundary, break down all of the divisions in your mind. The things that you identify with is a type of intelligence known as Ahankara.
I am. I am an American, therefore I am not a Russian. I am a Mets fan, I am not a Yankees fan. I am rich, I am not poor, I am human, I am not a tree etc, etc, etc.
These are all imaginary divisions. We are all one consciousness. Because a human was born on the other side of a planet, he’s not apart of me? That’s silly when you think about it. The fewer divisions in your mind that you have, the happier you’ll be I can guarantee this.
You can connect with so many more people when you cut down the amount of divisions in your mind.
How are you even divided from a tree? You cannot live without the oxygen it produces. You need that tree as much as you need your lungs to breathe the oxygen. How is the tree different from your lungs?
When your goal is ALL, stop counting. Stop dividing. Realize that you have already achieved oneness by the very definition of the universe that you exist in. The universe includes the galaxies, the stars, the planets, the you, and the me. We have already achieved our boundless goal. Congratulations.
If you ever feel separated in any way from this universe, just remember, that there was a time in our history when we all existed in one infinitely dense singularity. We all came from the same place. And if you ever feel separated from anything on this planet, remember that everything in this solar system came from the star dust of a Red Giant that went super nova, giving the material that created this solar system. We all have one singular ancestor.
When you consciously erase the imaginary boundaries in your mind. This means, you can experience everything as yourself. If everything in the universe is you, then you begin to experience the universe as yourself. A wonderful a union has occurred. Welcome to Yoga my friends.
I will leave you with this quote by Jiddu Krishnamurti: “When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European, or anything else, you are being violent. Do you see why it is violent? Because you are separating yourself from the rest of mankind. When you separate yourself by belief, by nationality, by tradition, it breeds violence. So a man who is seeking to understand violence does not belong to any counrty, to any religion, to any political party or partial system; he is concerned with the total understanding of mankind.”
Have a good week, my friends.
